I just noticed a typo in my thread title, I meant 2 10" subs... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm building a somewhat modest system for my car. I'm getting the following...

I'm getting 4 speakers for the doors and a sub. And a 5 channel amp to power it all up.

Kenwood KAC-7005PS 5 channel amp which is rated as follows...

Max Power Output 1200 W

Rated Power Output

14.4 V

40 W x 4 / 300W x 1 (4Ω) (20 Hz - 20 kHz, 1.0% THD) (20 Hz - 200 Hz, 1.0% THD)

50 W x 4 / 500W x 1 (2Ω) (1 kHz, 1.0% THD) (100 Hz, 1.0% THD)

100 W x 2/ 300W x 1 Bridged (4Ω) (1 kHz, 1.0% THD) (20 Hz - 200 Hz, 1.0% THD)

And the sub which is a Rockford Fosgate R2S-1X10 and rated as follows...

Nominal Impedance (ea): 2-Ohm

Internally wired to create a 2-Ohm amplifier load

Power Handling: 200 Watts RMS / 400 Watts MAX

So I was just wondering if it could be feasible and possible to run 2 of these subs off the amp instead of just 1?

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
