Amp or no amp?

So i have a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X520 2-ch amp with a Rockford P312d4 sub and im looking to get another because i already have a box for one from my old RF sub, but im not sure if i will need a bigger amp or if i can use teh same one, so maybe i can get a few tips or suggestions?

That's not a bad amp, but with a pair of p312's it's only going to give them about 1/2 rated power.

If I were you I'd get that x520 on ebay. If it's in good shape it should get you $100 or more, and you're 1/3 to 1/2 way to a good replacement amp -- a class D that's around 1000w at 1 ohm. (The HF bx1205d is $198 shipped at onlinecarstereo.com)

Theoretically it should be a pretty good option, but I've read a lot of posts about them having problems at 1 ohm.
