My amp cut off and made a whistling noise and I had heard it doing this prior for a few days. I went and tested the power wire to see if it was sending power through it and it seemed to not being doing so. I then checked my inline fuse stinger maxi (i know i need to swap with anl fuse) and there was a strange bubble like look to some of the metal inside the fuse. I replaced it and everything works fine but not sure if this was caused by the amp or the fact my fuse is 100a and my amp puts out at least 1200 watts. Does this whistle sound mean anything?
