Amp light flickering

Hey well i have a diamond audio d5 300.2 and i only have it hooked up to 150 rms kicker free air sub, but when the song has a lot of bass in it and i turn the volume up to 20 the amp light starts flickering and the subs sound all weird. Anyone have any idea wtf is wrong.

Yep the gains are correct, i don't know what it could be.

voltage or ground problem? what do you mean a kicker free air sub?

its just old kicker still water design model f12 sieres. I'm thinking it might be my batt becuase it is getting older and i need to replace it. But last year i never had this trouble with my rockford amp and it was bigger then the diamond audio

x2 for a weak ground. it has to be securely fastened onto the chassis/bare metal
