Amp keeps burning up!

Ive gone through 3 amps. I'll install the amp and it will work great for about two weeks. Then the sound will cut out completely and the amp will start smoking and catch fire. The fuses wont even be blown in the amp. This is with the fuses that came with the amp. Im afraid to buy a high quality amp in case it burns up. I have tried two different brands with the same results. No blown fuses just smoking amp till it fills my car up with smoke. I bought both of these amps at Pepboys. Everything is new. I bought a brand new capacitor. Im puzzled at why the fuses dont blow in the stock amps. Could the capacitor be causing it? Is it just a cheap amp or something else wrong?

first could you give us the specific brand and models of the amps you purchased?

second what sub(s) are you running?

are they wired properly?

going thru 3 different brand amps seems like user error not manufacture error. my only guess in your situation is you have something wired bad and is shorting out the amps. not all amp fuses blow when they burn up. check your pos and ground connection, are there any loose strands? are there any breaks in the line? check your speaker connections, are there any loose strands? are there any breaks in the lines? are the wires pinched? are the wires making contact with each other inside the box at the speaker?

Im running a Scosche 1600 watt amp wiring kit. Scosche capacitor (1/2 Farad). I was running a TIS 1800 watt amp.Hooked up to a single sony explod 12 inch subwoofer rated at 380 watt rms. It burned up so I took that out. Then another brand amp that I cant remember. It was a 4 channel amp that I had hooked up to four (30 watt rms) sony speakers. Ive checked many times and all the wiring is hooked up correct. + Battery to inline fuse, fuse to + capacitor, + capacitor to amp. - capacitor to ground on car frame. - amp to car frame. Capacitor and amplifier cable are close together as recommended.Im not sure if the amps are cheap or that the wiring kit is overkill. What do you think?

times like this I would get it proffessionally installed so you dont get hurt.

Make sure the impedance is right for the amp. Buying brands like sony might be another problem.

Its not the subwoofer because the amp blew even with the four 5.25inch sony speakers. I'll try a hifonic amp if that blows then I wired something wrong. Im gonna buy 4 kicker Rs65.2 speakers for now and a Hifonic amp to match. I like my sony subwoofer, it sounds great. I dont need anymore bass. My four 4-way sony speakers sound like shit. I'll take pics of my setup so that you can see if something is wrong with it. Thanks.
