Amp just got jacked.....

Just like my HU did my amp got jacked as well. It was a Profile AP400 400watt 2 channel (2 ohm max rating) http://www.millionbuy.com/prfap400.html . It powers 2 Alpine 6.5 Type R components 4ohm 70watt RMS. Should i replace with the same or is there a better amp for around the same price that will sound better?

Have a look here and get the 400SX directly from Profile. looks good but i wanted to buy all from one place so picked millionbuy.com Reason being is i i live in Canada so i pay alot for shipping. If i buy from millionbuy get amp and deck and accessories for 30 bucks shipping air. If i buy from 2 places it will be double that. So anything you would recomend on millionbuy.com . Willing to pay more to buy all from one place cause im also charged seperate brokerage fees ect when i get more than one package.

In that case I would just go with the unit on Millionbuy you previously linked to.

Profile doesn't make the greatest amps in the world but in my personal experience they are really tough to beat for the money.

I don't see that being worth $30 more than the AP400 you were looking at before.

And personally I just don't like the cosmetics on the Clarus-series amps. A bit too garish for my tastes but that may just be me...

ok one more thing. What do you think about going for the 600watt version over the 400 watt version that i previously had. Think that would be a better choice for the speakers i have the Type R's 350watt max 70watt RMS??
