Hi I was running these 5.25'' midranges and tweeters actively with this JL 300/4 slash amp. It was my rear fill in a daily diving car. The amp is like new - not a single scratch on it. The mid ranges are also mint.

I am switching to 6.5'' speakers and JL 300/2 amp. I paid $280 + shipping for the amp 8 months ago, and will let it go for $220 shipped.

I paid $150 for PG ti5 elite midranges, will let them go for $100 shipped. These speakers were made by morel with 3'' aluminum voice coils and neodymium magnets. The power handling is crazy (something like 150W RMS/speaker and 400W peak), and they are dead flat from about 150Hz to 2.5kHz!!! Sensitivity is 89db.

Had a few people interested in JL already. Get those midranges, they ARE the best speakers for a 3 way setup @ this price. Anything better will cost you at least $500... The price is low now because PG went out of business and all of its products are going off actions.

its not like PG "went out of business" just looks like they were bought by another company. same product, same name on the product, just money going into a different guys pocket is all it seems to me.

PG Is not out of business. Thats a fact....And as stated they were purchased...and are just under a new name. The PG building is still here in Oregon...they are indeed still open. They still repair amps, and such....still doing business.

And morel yes indeed made these mids.
