Well I knew it was to good to be true. My DA7232 is DOA. Fortunatly it looks like a simple trace fix and possibly the power supply. Its being fixed as we speak. The funny thing is I used to live about two miles from the guy (He is in another state) and I have some crazy friends that will do some crazy $hit after they've had a couple beers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

One phone call and he's in deep $hit.

All I can say is he better pay atleast half of the repair bill, or else contacting Ebay, negative feedback, and some other interesting things.

had a feeling......nobody sells an amp like that , that cheap- do you know how much it will cost to fix?
around 150-200ish. They will call me if its more. The mosfets are fine so none of those need fixed, good thing cause the amp has 20 of em. looks can be decieving, I know I used to assemble and solder circuit boards for a living. I was the floor lead so when there was a repair I was the one who did it most the time. But if looks are correct it should be an inexpensive fix. The place I took it to isn't going to rip me off either, I asked for an itemized reciept and reason for the defect.

He should pay ALL the repair costs- **** half of it...not your problem that he misrepresented his product...make him pay the whole thing.

If they didn't start the repair, I'd hold off and get an invoice for him to see and he can pay you for the work.

I actually have a friend selling his 7232 for $600 OBO- GUARANTEED to work, with paperwork from Eclipse to prove it- if you or anyone is interested-

He isn't replying to emails. I left negative feedback and am trying square deal mediation. I also have his contact info. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Urge to murder getting high...

How much did you win it for? Also if you have his contact info I would start bugging the shit out of him. I hate it when people pull this shit, that's why I stopped dealing with egay, too many **** scammers!

Well I called the repair company today and it isn't done yet. However they said the problem is in the remote turn on function so it won't be expensive like a burnt power supply. I really want this amp back so I can really push my L7's.
