amp hours

Can't be. Sounds liek rule of thumb because not every battery discharges to 0% at the same C rate.

AGM batteries are rated at 0.05C

Lithium batteries are typically rated at 0.20C

If you had a 100aH battery at 0.05C, then it's BEST reserve capability would be - 240 minutes at 0.25C

This number will change based on how the battery designed.

Is it designed for deep cycle low discharge or high discharge?

Is it virgin lead or recycled?

Typically, a battery that does NOT have an aH rating is not designed for instantaneous discharge rates.

This means one of 3 things.

Either A, when exhibited to high discharge rates, it drops voltage more than a battery better designed for it and/or

B, it's life cycles are heavily shortened by using it improperly and/or

C. it's burst discharge ability is not as high as a battery better designed for it based on A and B and Heat generated from it.
