Amp for xxx 15"

I just got my 15" xxx (thank audioplaya), and im looking to get an amp.. Im running stock battery/alternator..in my 05 accord..and the xxx is a dual 2 ohm..Im also going to be picking up a head unit soon (hoping to get it installed at the same time as the amp) so i need a head unit too(eclipise/alpine)..but im not really sure wut i want.. but i was thinking maybe a Crossfire VR2000D? Feedback/suggestions/etc appreciated..thanks

I'm using a Orion 1200d on my XXX. Great amp.

The Crossfire is one great amp.

Also look for the Orion 2500D and the RF T20001BD

I think that no matter your decision you should upgrade your electrical system to get the juice out of amps like those.

a battery will most likely not do it for an XXX amp, you will probably need a H.O. alternator. I was running about 1500wrms on my stock accord (99) and it was suffering hardcore. Stock alts are simply not designed for that.

how much do ho alt. run? and how do u mean suffering? as in lights dimmed, etc? or loss in power to sub, amp
