amp for stroker 15 inch

Hey I purchased I cerwin vega stroker single 4 ohm vc 15" sub. I'm putting an aproximately 6 cu ft ported box. I was just wondering what kinda power i would need to adquately run that sub. Would you guys be able to reccomend any amps for me that are under $400

whats the rms and your going to have a hard time finding a amp that puts out ~1500watts @ 4 ohm you best bet would be to get another stroker and get a amp for both of them and run it at 2 ohm like a mtx 81000d because it will be cheaper to get an amp that puts out decent power at a lower ohm load

yea if you get anotha 1 then u can buy my jbl 1200

unless u'd be coo wt 600@4 ohms

I don't have room for another sub unforutnately. Can anyone reccomend any good amps that do about 1200x1 at 4 ohms? The only i can think of is JL 1000/1. Otherwhys would linking together two Soundstream PIC2.880s work?
