Amp for speakers?

what would it be used for and how do you hook up 4 speakers to it?
it would send alot more power to the speakers, which would make them sound alot better, and be louder. i would suggest having an amplifier porfessionally installed if you arent sure how to do it

What kinda amp would I need?
What kind of car and year? How did you determine that those speakers are the right size? If you are running 4 speakers you will need a 4 channel amp. The C6882ie speakers are 4 ohm and are rated 60 watts RMS so you want to get an amp rated at least 60 watts RMS x 4 @ 4ohm (80+ recommended). What is your budget for amp? Realize that you will also have to get wiring which can add up fast as well.

I have a 98 f-150 and crutchfield is where I got the info. And my price range is no more than 150 or 200. But if I have a mono channel amp for my sub right now how do you hook the speaker amp up to the batter and all? That's what confuses me
