amp for my fi ssd?

I run my fi ssd 12 d1 in ported enclosure with my old zr360 that put out 725rms at 2ohms and i think my sub can take a lot more,and i think my amp clip the sub because the dust cap come hot, so i need a new amp, i have a kicker kx1200.1 but not stable at 0.5?

Do you have suggestion for a new amp for me!

You probably need to run at 2 ohms. Budget?

Keep in mind that the actual ohm load on the sub is .7 so when you run at 2ohms it's actually 1.4ohm load so with rise you'll probably be right at 2ohm...

I have a 10ssd d2 full options build that I'm running at 1ohm / .7 on a mtx rfl 1200.1d it's seeing a min 1200rms and yea mine will get a little warm too but it takes a while... Amp doesn't even go beyond Luke warm

I'd hit up the classifieds first. You'd want to almost double the power, but getting that at 2 ohms isn't cheap. Cheapest 0.5 ohm stable stuff I see if those lanzar opti drives.

I see on ssa store a cresendo bc2000 rated at 1100rms at 2ohms,what do you think about that?

It'll be fine, you can even test it out at .5 ohms, just do it carefully and monitor closely.

no need to run that amp that low. its just not a good idea ESP if you dont have an alt big enough to supply it..
