Amp for Hertz HSK 165. & coaxials

I am racking my brain trying to figure out what is the best amp for these speakers. I have read where many amps sound good with the HSK's but once they heard them with an Audison amp it was like the Heavens opened up.

I'm relatively new to car audio although 15+ years ago I dumped a lot of $$$ into car audio. I don't know much about it but I know what sounds good and that is a nice SQ stereo. That is what I am trying to accomplish.

Anyway, I have been told to get a JL HD amp or a ARC 300.4

I am not even sure if 75 or 90 watts is enough power to push these speakers.

Should I just skip those and go straight to Audison? Which Audison amp should I get and how much are they?

Of course I'll spend a few dollars for speakers and amp but I don't want to get get stupid with it either.

I've got a MB Quart DSC 480 that you can bridge up to handle those Hertz with some headroom to spare. looking to sell if interested.

Any of the sq brands do that. I run mainly milbert tube amps, so I can say my amps sound better than an Audison. Because tube amps actually introduce second level distortion which does change the sound. Solid state amps are not supposed to change the sound. So as long as you stick with a clean amp all will be well. If they are new models you will be okay with 125. If they are the pre 2008 models a lot of people push them with 250, just not as efficient.
