amp for fi ssd

can i run a 12inch d1 ssd with flatwind coil and bp power on a hifonics bxi1608d and be fine?

You could run it on a Kicker 2500 if you wanted to, it's all in how you set things up...

That being said, I can think of other amps I'd rather use before that Hifonics...

My point was that it doesn't really matter if you have an amp capable of more power than needed, because you don't always have to have it set for its maximum rated power.

I forget how much Nick said the BP option adds, IIRC it was a few hundred watts continuous, but I'd check on SSA. As long as you can get an undistorted 800W-1kW out of that amp, you should be fine.
