How? On the FI 18 its 2000 rms (so it says) and the USAmp 4000D is 2000 rms how would that not be enough??

The BTL fully loaded can handle quite a bit more than 2000 RMS. In the 12" test session they couldn't even get it to mess up on something like 6000 RMS..

What would be an ideal amount for a BTL fully loaded as far as RMS, for a daily driver?

I'm powering mine right now an Orion 2500d. It does the job pretty good. I would love to run some tests against the Kicker ZX2500.1 and see if there is any major differences.

Save up and do the right thing first.

Something like a 40.1 and a shit-ton of batteries or maybe a DD Z1, they go for 900-1000 used.
