Amp for Boston Sub

Hey guys, new to the forum. Had a issue maybe I can get some help with. I have a BA G5 10 inch sub, in its own enclosure from Boston. It is a 2 ohm load. The amp I was going to power it with does about 600 watts at 4 ohms bridged (Zed Leviathan) on the 5 and 6 channel. I can't run it this way because it is a 2 ohm load on my sub. The sub has an option to run it also at 8 ohm. I know I would loose some power, but sound wise, would this work? My other option is to use a mono amp that will do a 2 ohm load. Any feedback appreciated. Thx:)

It would sound alot tighter at 8 ohm rather than 2. What are your goals? are you looking to get the most out of it? then just find another amp that will put out about 4-600 watts at a 2 ohm load. maybe a SAZ-1000D?
