Amp for a 110W RMS pair of 6X9's

I'm looking for an amp for a pair of

INFINITY KAPPA 693.7I 6X9 speakers (running at 2ohms)

They're 110W RMS and 300W peak

But its at 125 RMS @ 2ohms... So I'd have to turn down the gain a bit.

This is my first amp etc thing for me so if you guys could help me I'd really appreciate it

I'm looking at an infinity amp right now... it puts out more power than i need but...

what do you guys think?

You'll have to tune the gain so that there is no apparent distortion and no clipping. Settings are going to vary a little from amp to amp and speaker to speaker, even if they are all the same brand and type.

~140w shouldn't be a problem unless you listen to it at full volume 100% of the time, but if you only want to run 110, or 100w just look at the gain setting sticky.

Plug in the power you want.

Now I've gotta look for some decent subs and an amp to go along with those...^ ^

but thats for a later time. I'm getting new rims and tires for my car so... ya

But I just got an offer on a used JL Audio e6450 6 channel amp [ runs at 45w rms x 6 ]

They guy is wanting $170 shipped. What do you guys think?
