Amp For 8 12's

i'm considering putting 8 kenwood 12's in my car or 4 12's and 4 10's the 12's run about 600 watts max and the 10's are 500 i was considerin a power acoustic? 4 channel amp give me some ideas thanks

first off never mix sizes like 10's and 12's, you will need a large mono block amp that is stable down to like 2 or 1 ohm.....are you competing db drag or anything if not than don't waste the money on lots of woofers 2 or 3 would be sufficient

yea spend all that cash on getting a few high quality subs that can take a beating and get some serious wattage stable down to 1 ohm

get the visonik amps, mine is 1 ohm stable rms is 1000 watts, 1500 max, I could put four twelves in here, , but I only have two, which put me at 2 ohms, 750 rms, mono blocks are cool, especialy this one because it is parrell compatable, which means that I can get another visonik amp like mine and make then one huge mone block, which would be 2000 watts @ 1 ohm rms, 3000 peak., they only cost 500 a piece. I would do this If I wanted 8 12s in my car. ( dont buy crappy subs, kenwood is crappy, excelon ............might be good, but those tornados ****, get hollywood excrusions, thats what I have, and my systen is better than most. the amp even has a remote gain control, which is required with that kind of system.
