Amp for 350$

I want to get a new amp for around 350$. my old systm got jacked and for my new one i want something loud but at the same time clean. I would rather sacrifice the sq if i could get a substantial boost in the spl, but i dont want something thats sounds to poor. I was thinking of getting a Jl 500/1 but does anyone have any other sugestions?

On ebay you can grab a 2003 model Memphis 1000 watt amp for $360 or a really really nice diamond audio 600w for the same price
