Amp for 3 RE8s?

Hey like the title says I'm looking for an amp for 3 RE8s. I'm getting them at a crazy deal so I dont really want to turn them down. It will probably just be a temporary winter system, but hey it works.

Preferably, I want a bass knob. I know how to not abuse them, and I want it to adjust accordingly to the different styles of music I listen to. If that's too much to ask for as small of an amp as I need for the RE8s, I can buy one seperate, but the amp must have the option for one.

What is the impedence of the voice coils?

and you really don't need bass boost. You can control output through your head unit.

They are Dual 4 like said above, which comes out to 2.67ohms. I think a 500/1 would be too much. I was looking at the PG Xenon series, 400.1 which is 400rms@ any ohm load (like the JL 500/1 and 1000/1). Good amp?

I know you can adjust through the HU, but I think it would be much easier and faster to twist the knob a little bit.

you can get some real loud and great sounding bass from those 3 re8s with the right box. a know someone with 2 re8s that hit somewhere in the 140's and gets real low with great sq. but then again, he does build some real nice ported boxes.

Bump. Getting the subs tomorrow (today). Need to pick out an amp fast!

I'd like to port them, but I **** at designing ported stuff.
