boss is crap....period. Your not gonna get 3000 watts out of it no matter how hard you try.

Get the fuse size ratings and you'll understand.

I agree with the others, Boss amps are crap. They'll do their rated power if they're hit by lightning, but not with normal 12V power.

I second the notion for PG amps. Anyone remember the ZPA's? I think that's what they were called. Big bad boys that could modded to something like 2k watts for compeition use.
