I'm ordering a single 10" mb quart sub and polk 651s tonight and need an amp to go with it. im not sure what exactly to look for. im guessing i should go for a 4 channel to power the 2 front speakers and the sub. im looking to spend roughly $175. can anyone recommend me an amp

I would think a pair of CA600 amps would be about right. Maybe a bit more than you need for the comps at least, but I would do it:

They would be under your budget, combined. I have a CA800 (powering a sealed MB Quart RWE-352, BTW) and a pair of CA200 from the same Profile site, myself. Very good amps, IMO.

I listened to each on my Dynaudio bookshelf speakers at home (using a car battery to power them), as I ordered them/they arrived. I wanted to make sure they performed alright before I committed to them. The first CA200 was all of $50, after shipping and tax, so I wasn't out much if it did under perform. None of them underperformed, that is for sure. They all sounded great, I didn't find any sound quality issues (or any other kind of issues) with any of them. Plus, they have worked like champs in my car setup since then.

There are a lot of amp choices out there, though. Good luck with your hunt. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
