If the OP is serious and not trolling a boss 5,000watt amp will prly do 476watts max.. Stick to proven amps

find a good used amp .... I've just sold a couple 800-1000w rms amps for around a buck fifty here local in the last week ...just look around...

I got a kenwood amp that does 900 watts at 2 ohm which is what you need for a single d4 12 for 140 shipped.

If you get an amp that puts out 1000 watts but its rated at 1 ohm, you are only gonna get around 500 out of it because your only wiring options are 2 ohm parallel or 8 ohm series.
