amp deciding not to work

So Ive had these 2 kicker 12 inch L5's working GREAT for the last 3 monthes. then yesterday i went to the beach, everything was working perfect on the way there, then when im leaving, i realized my subs werent kickin. I thought maybe the amp was over heated or a fuse blew but i checked the car fuses n amp fuse n they were fine. My amp is being powered(the power button is on) just the LCD light ontop of the amp isnt glowing red, i ran a remote wire from the power on the amp to the remote on the amp and still no luck so i know theres nothing wrong with the remote wire or power , so im still yet to check the ground and relocate it to a different spot. I mean the amp power button comes on but the LCD lights on top of the amp that usually glow red arent coming on. Did my amp decide to give up ? It wouldnt have to do anything with my subs would it? any help is appreciated. thank you

As long as you wired it to the correct load, your subs shouldn't be the reason to why your amp doesn't work anymore. In cases like this, I like to disconnect the amp from the car and test it on a bench to make sure the amp is fully functional. If it is, then start looking at your wires. It does sound like a loose ground though.
