Amp comes on, but no Amperage?

WTF? I disconnected my amp to hook up a buddies to see if it would come on, and now when i hooked it back up my amp will power on but no amperage? Not sure what coudl be causing that?

Take a look at the remote wire. I had a similar situation not too long ago and found out that whoever installed the amp in the vehicle didn't make a good connection from the remote wire to the amp to the factory wiring. This puzzled me before since the amp turned on sometimes.
