I have a 93 Nissan std cab truck, I'm thinking of getting a package deal I found on woofersetc.com....

the package deal comes with CDT Audio HD-62US - CDT Audio Complete UpStage Component System with Built-In UpStage Design and it Includes 2 FREE EF-80 8" cast Versabox subwoofers for $599. I've had the ES-620's (powered by a Crossfire 804) before in my Scion, and loved them, but now I'm looking into doing a little SQL project in my truck.
My question is, what amp (1 amp only) would you use to power up entire system? I've been looking at the Memphis Belle 16-MCH1300 (Bridging channels to get 220 x 2 for HD-62's) or Soundstream TRA880.5 (Bridging channels to get 240 x 2 for HD-62's).
I've been trying to look for a simple 3 channel amp that could give the power requirments I need for this setup, but haven't had any luck yet. The EF-80 subs handle 200-400 watts and are single 4 ohm as far as I know, so I was looking at sending 400-600 watts to the pair, depending on which amp I get. I've been reading up on Soundstream, and ppl aren't too crazy about these 5 channel amps when it comes to SQ. Throw me some ideas on amps, I've also looked into the DLS A7, but my Eclipse 8445 HU puts out 8v, and the A7 only recieves up to 7v.
An alternative to the pair of EF-80 subs would be just one 8" L7, RLI-8, or maybe a TC-1000. But for the price of the package deal, I wouldn't mind trying the EF-80's to see how they sound in a std cab truck. I'll be placing the Sub(s) in a sealed FG center console between the two bucket seats.
Let me know what you think.
