that's a good vid.. other thing i'm thinking is if i run 3 amps i could start at a lower impedance with a sundown amp so the impedance rise wouldn't be so high as compared to running an SD or stetsom at 1 ohm.. its just a toss up between all of them.. i only got one shot to buy the right stuff i'm really just doing alot of research

3 3500s will do the trick

would also do the 3 sundowns cause you can add a woofer later and add a amp or use 2 woofers and double up on amps. more flexable that way. also easier to sell 3 3k's than 1 huge monster amp..

good point there.. any more recommendations on subs? that would take either a 3500 or a 4500 per? for bass race and bass boxing?

Why complicate a build by installing multiple units and having to use buss bars and everything else? If you think multiple amps gives you a cool factor, then knock yourself out.

Otherwise KISS factor = win

IMO, the less amps the better. Double amps take up more space which I hate due to my beater being my daily

no problems on room here whatever i get is going in the bed of my truck.. i just see one big amp like the SD could possibly fail at any time then i'm screwed till it gets repaired.. the amp has gotta create alot of heat while playing.. this is just for bass race btw. plus the SD 16k requires about 16 batteries from what i was told.. doesn't seem to be really efficient

the 14k looks like it would work but.... once again one amp could fail at any time.. im looking for excellent customer service as well.

Not the 14k, i'm referring to running 3 4k2d's. (5500 rms @ 2ohm)

Stetsom's customer service has improved alot over the past few months with the new reps on board. Warranty is also well covered, with db-r being the repair centre.

Get some D1.5 ohm subs and just run 6 Audiopipe 3K's. $1980 will get you 18K rms

Yeah, stetsom amps are looking pretty **** good lately.
