Amp Blown?

ok guys im a noob and i have been reading on how to install an amp for a couple mths now... i have had everything in my room waiting till i got everything together to install it myself.... the speakers and hu were a cake walk.... the amp kit helped with instructions and i connected everything and it went for about ten minutes and then my amp wont turn on.... checked all the fuses and they are fine....the amp fuse... the power wire fuse.... my hu fuse... all fine... the ground spot was sanded... the power wire is on one side of the car and the speaker wires on the other side... help plz!! did i fry my amp? its a Special Edition 24db Crossover 2CH/800w Amp pushin 2 12" Z Edition Subs. With a 4awg 1000w+ amp kit. i was told all together it was 1600 watts... two infinity 300w three way rears with sony 6 1/2 xplod three way fronts...and a Jvc HU
