AMP Blowing fuses

Hey I am hooking up a AQ 1200d in my friends car and everytime i turn on the HU the fuses in th amp immediately blow. the amp works fine as it ias in my car now not really sure what the issue is.

doesnt even come on or go into protect mode. Is this maybe a problem with the headunit?

ground and power touching somewere? i know those terminals are close maybe a strand is hitting the power or ground term

hooked it up like 4 times

replaced the fuses 3 or 4 times

made sure no wires were touching

This doesn't make sense. Amp blows fuses in car #1 when head unit turned on. Amp does not blow fuses in car #2 under the same circumstances... The only source of current large enough to do this deed in the main power feeds.

I suspect a wiring problem in car #1. Perhaps power and ground switched? Or, a dead short on a speaker lead? Check it out...
