Amp being strange, please help??

Hey there guys

I have had an Orion® CO6004 4 channel amp in my car for a couple of months now. Everything has been working fine, up until the weekend. I don't drive the car that much, 1-2 times a week.

JVC 7" Dvd Headunit

CH 1 + 2 - Fronts

Ch 3 + 4 (Bridged) - Sony Explod (BOX120P5A)

It now, wont produce any sound when there is bass in a song and the volume is up even a little bit, not loud at all.

Could the amp be faulty? or is there some tests I could try??

This is bugging me, it was all working fine then all of a sudden this has happened. Grrrr

After a bit of research on the net, I read that this can happen when the the wires to the sub are crossed over. I found the screws on the sub had come loose and were indeed crossing over.

Screwed them back in tightly and that fixed it straight away.
