Amp advice for a newbie on a budget.

Hey guys, I'm in the process of upgrading my stock stereo system in my 2007 Toyota FJ Crusier. I'm looking for an amp to power a pair of Alpine Type R 6x9's in the doors and a single JL Audio 10w3v2 10" sub or Kicker Comp VR 10" sub. What would be the best configuration for this type setup? Would I be better off buying a 2 channel amp and running it in a tri-way mode or just buy a 4 channel amp and bridge the 2 channels for the sub? What kind of power will I need to make either of those two subs sound good without blowing the 6x9's at the same time? The goal is 1 amp to power all 3 speakers, I'm looking for a amp for under $200 if possible. Thanks.

You would be better off spending an extra hundred and getting a 2 channel amp and a Monoblock...It would make a lot more sense

A decent four channel would suffice....something that puts out around 100 at 4ohm and 200 at 2 ohm. Run your components on the front two channels, bridge the back two channels for the sub.

I did some searching on here and mainly all I found was mixed reviews on them. Only reason I looked to Hifonics was because the same company that owns them, owns MB Quart which as far as I know is and use to be a very good car audio company.

The Alpine Type R 6x9's are rated at 55w rms which would take the front two channels of that Hifonics ZX4400, now the questions is will 220w rms bridged off the rear 2 channels be enough to push a decent sub? I'm looking into a Alpine Type R 10" now for my sub, trying to keep it simple by sticking to the same brand and line of speakers. The Alpine Type R 10" is rated at 50w-500w rms, so with 220w rms on it how will it sound? I'm not looking for something to raddle the house windows or be heard from a block away just to give you a idea of my goal with this setup. Keep the advice coming, thanks.

Meh still not enough power for a type R, go for something else if your going to run that power....like an AA assassin....or if your set on the type r, get something with more power and just keep your gains down for the mids/highs....

if you go type r, your not gonna find a multi channel amp with enough power to push it for under like 1,000 dollars. just get a simple 2ch for the speakers and a mono for the sub
