I'm partial to 2+ 12" setups.

It's all about what is able too fit in the ride while still maintaining some useable storage space.

Having 10's, 12's, 15's.. I like the 12's. Honestly, I like anything that sounds good. Currently running 2 12's and am very pleased with the result. I must say the RE's I am currently running kick the **** out of the CVX and CVT's I have run in the past.

Mostly I think 8's get you that wow factor I don't really have a preference I run 12's because I can fit a pair without taking up the whole trunk plus things just seem to look better in pairs imo.

Just depends on what you are looking for, but I don't make fun of someone if they want to run small subs. I personally like having a single 10" in my car. Gives me the bass I still crave, but doesn't use alot of space. I also use a sealed box for the space factor, but I don't need an insanely loud system anymore. why has this gone on so long? lol all subs can get loud in a proper enclosure. and having 1 eight would be awesome cause you only need like a .6 cf box. and who doesnt love space?!
