i have a pheonix gold xenon 600.1 and the likght on the amp began flashing when its supposed to be solid. could anyone tell me of why this is?

wuts the color, if its red it might be bad but oyu need to know this shit about your amp. research your amp dude n find out what the different light indications means, it could fried or it could just be in protect mode. sorry but i feel like to much crap to research it for you.

If it's dimming with the music it's likely you have a bad ground.

The flashing light means the amp is in protect mode. It's in the manual. If you don't have one, you can download it from PG's site.

you KILLED IT!!!!!! MORON!!!!! or your voltage dips too low and you need to upgrade your grounds (big3) but something is not right. good luck.

Check your rca's and ground. I had same problem. Run direct from deck. Not off another amp or eq ect.

amp somehow fixed itself lol. it just started working when i turned my car on last night.
