The above is from the MB website. I am thinking of getting this amp...but.....How can it be 4x125 RMS and 2 x 500 @ 4Ω? Wouldn't it be 2x500 @ 2Ω? And more like 2 x 250 @ 4Ω?

Yea, that's why I asked. I guess I don't understand how output is doubled by bridging. 125 RMS for 1 channel, but 500 bridged? Other amps have it as 125 x4 or 250 x 2.Why be so high? Not trying to be an idiot, but I am pretty sure there is edumacation to be had on this hear 'net thingy......

I am pretty sure you were not all so smart from day 1. Share some of that higher education.

OK, then why is it not 250x4 at 4Ohms if it is 500x2 at 4 Ohms?
