odors: You have a bag or year old McDonalds stick behing the computer desk.

AC issue.. Cant tell if it is dust or mold. If in doubt, GENTLY (mist it with water before handling WITH GLOVES, try not to disturb the deposit, and wear a respirator if you have one because you WILL get sick) remove the louvers if possible, and soak it in a bleach and water solution. For the bleach, go to a pool store and get bleach from them, it is usually 13-15% Sodium Hypochlorite instead of the usual 2-3% found in stores. Use this in a well ventilated room! You also may want to look for any kind of drip tray in the AC unit and make sure it is empty (should drain to the outside)
