Am I being SCAM?

Hello all. I have ordered some speakers from someone that posts here(onces in a while), and he also works for a shop, and by the looks of it a very reputable shop, so as for now I don't whant to say who it is.

I have being a little suspicious though. I ordered some DD coaxials a week ago from him. I contact the seller through aim and ask him about this DD speakers etc. Well I ask him how much shippe to cali, and he gave me a price so then I ask him for his paypal to make payment. He said he will shipp the speakers ASAP. So I let 2 days pass, after those 2 days I contact him via aim to ask the status of the speakers etc but he doesnt reply to anything. etc and I am starting to get a bit worryed:crap:. no. tell him your going to do a chargeback in 2 days and explain to him what it is. he will respond then. also if he has a bunch of refs im sure everything is okay.

I'd be worried.

If you say you will ship asap, then you best do it.

I always ship same or next day depending on what time it is.

I honestly wouldn't wait if you used paypal. That just give's him more time to take the money out of his account so you will basically be screwed unless you used a credit card. I would start the claim to try to get him moving because most people that aren't scammer's will ship a item out quick once they get the email about the claim. That way he won't be able to pull the money out of his paypal account and you can alway's cancel the claim if he does ship the item and you get them in working order.

The thing is, this dude runs a reputable shop and has bein good to me in the past, he did a design for me(box design) and we talked about car audio over AIM etc. Really cool guy. I am goin to direct him to this thread.
