Sold Altronix Power Supply

Found this in my storage while cleaning out. Iten is brand new. Could be used to power a car system in your house I am guessing. Looks like a power supply that take 120v from a wall socket and converts it to 12v DC. This is all I could find on the unit:

No on/off switch, but you can easily intall one on the power cord. Here are the specs from the companys website.

i'm also interested, is it really as simple as plugging it into the wall then powering your amp from it? does the amp need a ground???
