Alterstart vs. Iraggi

Iraggi will build me a 200amp alternator for $440 shipped. But i just found a Alterstart Load Boss 165Amp on Ebay for $275 after shipping. My stock alt. is 85amps. I'm going to be running a Kicker 06zx1500.1 and a zx350.4. I don't want to run multiple batteries so which alternator do u guys think would be the better choice? Should the load boss be enough output for me?

Though I've never bought one from Dom, I know guys over the years have praised his ability to make a strong alternator and stand behind his work. If money is an issue, then it's up to you, but this hobby isn't always kind to tight wads. If the ebay product is what you want, be ready to deal with issues on your own if they arise.

iraggi alts are great although from searching around the forums there have been some serious issues with both customer service as well as actually getting the alt.

there are a few companies with great reputations out there for less. not all are less but you get what you pay for.

EA

Mean Green

are a couple you could check in to

my EA 300amp was 40 less than what you stated for the iraggi

ok money isn't a issue but i don't want to pay alot more just for a name. do u know who makes the most reliable alternators? this is my daily driver so i don't want anything that might leave me stranded.

As far as reliability, good luck with anything that has to be beefed up that much. I don't even know besides iraggi except for ohio generator and stinger.

LMAO. dom builds horrible alternators... the ones i had from him were worse than the stock alt, and they died within just a few months...

iraggi is a scammer, be warned about that. do some research on him and dont let him scam you.

mean green ftmfw. do some research...

$392 shipped for a underrated 200A alt. ngsm13's has benched at 218. i havent benched mine but it runs just perfectly, and so does my buddies.
