Alternators - educate me

Here's the deal. I'm running an a3000 db in my car. Since we have a group buy, I'll be getting a new alternator. The prices I was quoted are as follows:

Before discount:

200 amp $300

250 amp $340

275 amp $400

Now, I don't have a lot of money, so the cheaper the better. I want to make sure there is absolutely NO dimming. I also might add a component amp in the future, so please take that into consideration. I think the 275 amp alternator is a little excessive, but I could be wrong. Which one would you recommend I buy? Oh, and if we don't get 10% off, I'm going to be screwed paying the extra. Opinions?

If it end up being more than you need, no big deal

No, I don't. But I specifically asked for alternators that put out at least 100 at idle.

I would get the 250, would be plenty for your current setup plus some add-ons
