alternative to screws...

double baffle, before gluing the 2 baffles together, router out a recess from the backside that matches the thickness of the plexi...use some silicone to form a bead and sandwich it in between the 2.

the thing is... im trying to make everything flush.... im using a double baffle for the face and mouting the sub on top of that... then going to use 1/4'' plexi to make the plexi flush with the sub, and then a 1/4'' mdf beauty panel around the plexi so that the entire thing is flush

Im assuming this guy is simply talking about some sort of trim panel, not an actual window into the box that would be pressurized. Who in their right mind would think you could glue a 1/4" plexi window to a box for that purpose? lol

now what makes you think members on this forum are in their right mind?

yes... it is purely for asthetic purposes. it wsill hold no structural purposes whatsoever. i could go will screws but i was just looking to see if there was anything that would work just as well without having to see the screw heads
