Alternative to Fi Q12?

I'm looking for a loud SQ sub. This can either be a combination of 2 or just 1. I want something with comparable quality to the Fi, but a smaller price tag.

If it means just sacrificing a small amount of quality that isn't even perceivable to the human ear, please suggest it. I don't plan on entering any competitions, I just want something that sounds good to me, my friends, and can turn a few heads on the street.

Also, if you know a set of components that compliment a given sub, please recommend them as well. I am upgrading the components, HU, and sub. Currently coming from stock.

Oh yea, can someone tell me how important preamp voltage is? And is 2.2 enough? is 5 overkill?

Are you stuck with a 12" sub, or can you fit a 15"?
