Alternate Ending to "I Am Legend"

Who has seen it. I bought the movie last night and I think the alternate ending is 10000x better than the theatrical version.

Hmm i don know the other one.

I've seen it in theater when it came out and Will SMith Dies but girl makes it to the camp with the treatment syringes

initially when i first heard of the movie and that will smith was the lead i thought it would be another one of his crap movies. upon watching it the movie turned out to be a lot better than i had expected. kind of reminded me of 28days/months though.

You have to buy the version that offers the second disc. The entire movie is unrated and has an alternate ending!

Second Disc? Stop being cheap and buy the Blu-Ray lol.

The guy at the end is bashing his head at the window and then stops and draws a butterfly and Will Smith rolls over the healed girl and sees a butterfly tatoo, then he brings her out to the infected people, injects her so she turns back into w.e they are and the monsters let Will Smith go. The movie then proceeds to Will smith, the girl and the kid driving to the find other people, and it ends.

I hope the Blu-ray i'm getting from Nutflix has it... I was reading about it the other day.

I wonder if the alternative ending encompasses the great gas mileage various Ford vehicles get? Or perhaps lead out with the Mustang Cobra GT500 reaching 0-60 in record time easily out-pacing the super-human Night Dwellers? How about the cargo space of the Flex being more than ample to carry sufficient amounts of the vaccine from the compound to the city?

hmm... that wouldn make that much sense.

So i prefer the original ending.

Why doesn't it make sense? Even the orginal version shows that the infected still have a somewhat civil mind.
