I have a 97 V6 Mustang Coupe

I think i have a 130 amp altenator (can someone double check that for me? i dunno how)

would my alt be able to handle the jbl 1200.1 and my lights not dim/my car stall at stop signs?

i wouldn't suggest that anyone run that amp without an upgraded electrical system. a few cheap upgrades that will help are upgrading the wire that runs from your alt to your battery to a guage slighly larger than your audio system's main power cable. same goes for the frame ground on the battery. You'll also want to consider a slightly larger alternator (something in the realm of 150-200 amps) and a deepcycle battery with at least 1000 CCA.
