Could the regulator in my stock alt be going? I think so, just wanted other opinions.

My electrical has been pretty beastly since I got some stuff in my car. I have a deka up front and a deka in back. 3 runs of 1/0 each fused at 250 amps for now and 2 straight ground runs of 1/0. Im going to change the fusing to 300 A and add another ground run later. Anyways right now Im running a hifonics BXI2008d @ 1 ohm and a profile 1040 @ 2 ohms. So around 2500 watts rms right now. Plans are 2 to 3 more dekas and 2 of each of these amps. Alternator right now is stock 130 amp. I was quoted 500 bucks for a 250 amp... so I'll have to wait on that.

So today I noticed at full tilt.. the usual... voltage rarely dropping into 13's even. However now I start to notice that after a bass note, instead of dropping, my voltage has seemed to reversed. It now peaks up to 15.3 volts after a bass note. And maybe on 1 out of 5 drives I take I notice a strange drop to 12.8 that quickly goes away, not necessarily with music playing. I think maybe the regulator is messed up and is over-compensating or something.

I know what you are all thinking "sounds like one of those good problems" but the max my car ever actually charges at is 14.6 after sitting all night and on a chilly morning. Most of the time it sits right at 14.2. Getting into mid 15s may be approaching danger.
