you might wanna do more research if your running a sealed box and the best you could come up with were 2 subs that dont recommend being sealed

My question is... Is the SX not recommended for sealed because it sounds MUCH louder in ported, or because it sounds really BAD sealed? Because maybe he doesn't want something extremely loud?

I think you should get the fi bl's instead. Or the audioque out of your choices because it'll get louder, and louder is gooder.

For a sealed application I couldn't think of anything better than the new Mag. Audioque does NOT recommend a sealed box for their subs; why was that even on the list?

OP if you go sealed with the two sub's you have listed. you should just give up on car audio and donate the sub to someone that can put it to good use..

I'd do the fi q. A lot of peps recommend them and they're pretty cheap. Your gonna have a nice setup either way.

After hearing a ported 12" Type X sub, I would NEVER run one sealed! That mofo was LOUD in a 2008 Civic Si!
