Alright lets talk alpine type x

Specifically the coil. for those of you that dont know the alpine type x uses a coil taht has windings on the inside AND the outside of the former. what would you think would be the pros and cons of such a setup? I will keep my thoughts to myself at the moment, cuz i may be WAYYY off base thoughts?

I think they have a lot more potential

seems like having a coil inside and outside of the transformer could allow for stronger magnetic pull I think Alpine is on to something with that idea now they just need to to make bigger and better softparts off of that concept and I bet they could make one hell of a sub

lol well i tried to help if it was similar too the wind on my sub i could help

i tryed to have an actual helpful post i will go do a helpful post somewhere now.

get a 1 ohm stable amp or get a amp that does the power you want at 4 ohm.

i helped someone today with that post

as i said.. im not braining today lol just a thought, haha... i spose you really cant say that, as the motor might have been designed for the coil to be that way, so a standard coil would actually hurt it..
