Alpines Ai-Net

I currently have an Alpine 9813 HU and just recently got the Sirius satellite radio box that is compatable with the alpines. I believe this uses alpines Ai-Net hookup. I also just bought an Ipod and was thinking about buying the alpine/Ipod box that alpine offers to run your ipod through your HU. I know that this uses Ai-Net as well. Is there any setup I can do to run both of these trough my HU??? I also saw something in browsing the web about a HUB alpine offers for the Ai-Net, however I am not looking to spend 250 on that. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

If I remember correctly 1 of those had a pass through for an additional component IE the other device. One of them had an Input for another device that you can connect.

i had a similar issue. i was using my ai-net input as an auxilary input for the audio rcas from my ps2, but also wanted to do that whole ai-net adaptor ipod deal, but it was occupied by the ps2. i talked to crutchfield, and they offer many different cords as a solution to this, but they're like $80 each, so i didnt do it.

the ipod box got a passthru, but i don't think neither will work on a 9813

almost sure the ipod thingy won't work, they have issues with the 983x and newer models

could be wrong though

I noticed on my sirus box that it has an open 'input' jack for another Ai-net cable (or so it seems) can i just run the ipod box through my sirius box???

yeah, i'm running an AUX input through my sirius box. just plug the sirius box output into the radio, and the IPOD output into the sirius box's input.
