Alpine X100 / Sirius Issue: Category menu gives "No Data" error

Hello,

This is my first post on the forum. After searching this site and google for weeks I have not found the same issue.

A month or two ago I bought an Alpine X100, SIRIUS SCC1 SIRIUS Connect Universal Tuner, and a Alpine KCA-SC100 for my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. Since then I have had several issues with the Sirius part of it. The main issue is when I go into the "Category" menu of Sirius it sometimes says "No Data" and won't display the categories or channels. Besides that the audio and display work fine, most of the time. Sometimes the head unit cannot pick up the Sirius at all when I toggle through the sources. Several restarts of the head unit usually fixes it.

I have taken the radio to the shop I purchased/installed it from and 5 times to fix it. They have replaced the head unit, the KCA-SC100, and the SCC1. Unfortunately, I still have the issue.

I have read that connecting the head unit to a TRUE IGNITION line may resolve Sirius-related problems. At this point I have lost faith in the stereo shop, but I might have them take it back in to hook it to an ignition line. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.
