First, let me say that I love the my W200/H701 combo. I got the W200 originally for video for my kids, but the kids are never in my truck and I've only watched 1 DVD since I've had the unit (or my previous D310).

I've ALWAYS been drawn to McIntosh Home Audio and every since I've seen the MX406 years ago, I've wanted it. To this day, I still don't know why I haven't got it. I know it performs like a champ and you gotta love those McIntosh meters (MPM4000).

I'm just not sure if I'd regret the switch???? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i wouldn't. too much stuff to switch around. if you plan on keeping the h701, then you have to buy the c701. then you'd have to run the h701 off analog and the h701 is notorious for floor noise. i'd only do it if you had a plan on some other processing namely rane or beringer's processors.

Yeah, this is the reason I haven't done it yet and the reason(s) I would regret making the switch.
